Just aim and knock the monsters off the box and into the pond water below to win each round. Every time you knock a set of books or a bright red apple from the box, you lose a life. You have three lives per level, so it's not too difficult in the beginning rounds to make a mistake but win anyway.
A Monster Ate My Homework gets increasingly more difficult with every subsequent level. The sound effects are fun, and the graphics are really cute. There's even a training round that comes with A Monster Ate My Homework so you can get the hang of how to aim before actually setting out and knocking down monsters in the real game.
